I’ve been more and more annoyed with the way that CNN has become the viral news outlet instead of the Cable News Network. When I went to CNN before I used to find out what was going on in the world. Now I just find out what stupid videos are being put out on the web.

The Global Post (http://www.globalpost.com/) hires trained, experienced journalists and has them file real news stories from around the world. They’re a very young operation, but they are trying to do real journalism in the online space.
